On 23rd August 2024, the SDPGIPS (College of Pharmacy) community celebrated National Space Day with great enthusiasm. This year’s theme, “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga,” commemorated the one-year anniversary of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 successful moon landing.
Pledge Ceremony: Reaffirming Our Commitment
A highlight of the event was the pledge ceremony, where students, faculty, and staff came together to take an oath. They pledged to celebrate National Space Day every year and encourage others to do the same. This united effort reaffirmed their commitment to supporting India’s journey to becoming a leading space power.
Vote of Thanks and Insightful Address
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Manish Dhall, Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy. Dr. Dhall provided valuable insights into the significance of National Space Day, inspiring students to actively participate in space-related initiatives.
