Medical Service Centre Rohtak Unit, on the occasion of World Health Day in April, organized a Health checkup camp at Kheri Sadh village on 10th April. Around 150 people were screened and treated in this camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Neelam Kumar (Head, Community Medicine Department, PGIMS Rohtak). On this occasion, Dr. Vinod Chayal (Community Medicine Department), Ophthalmologist Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Karan (Dental), Dr. Naveen(Dental), Dr. Jagriti (Dental), Dr. Anirban (Medicine), Dr. Bharat (Microbiology), Dr. Neetu, Dr. Shrishti, Dr. Sachin, Dr Vikas, Kaushal and Sanjana from Physiotherapy, Ashu and Reena from Nursing, Poonam and Ritu from MBBS, Subham from Pharmacy and many more students from different courses participated.
An awareness rally was also conducted by students to make the public aware of Pre-natal and post-natal Physiotherapy and also about congenital defects.
Apart from this, students gave information through skits about measures to prevent congenital defects and exercises to be done during pregnancy.
All the health professionals provided health information to the people and resolved their health problems. Free medicines and health services were provided in the camp. On this occasion, the student volunteers of the MSC Rohtak Unit said that this camp has been organized to promote health services in rural areas. We aim to provide health-related information to the people and solve their health problems.
The people present in the camp expressed their gratitude to the Medical Service Centre for this and said that this camp was very useful for them.
