Today, our college marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of National Pharmacy Week, a special occasion dedicated to honouring the vital contributions of pharmacists in healthcare. The event, held at the college auditorium, was a momentous gathering of students, faculty, and pharmacy professionals, all united by a common passion for advancing the field of pharmacy.The event began with a traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the start of a journey toward knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by the soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge to guide everyone in their pursuit of excellence.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome from Dr. Jasbir Sir of the Pharmacy Department, who set the tone for the week long celebrations. Highlighting the importance of pharmacy in community health, they expressed gratitude to the pharmacy professionals for their dedication and expertise. The event emphasised the evolving role of pharmacists beyond dispensing medications, showcasing their increasing involvement in patient care, health education, and research.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the visit of Mr. Ram and Ms. Srikala, Marketing Representatives from Infotech Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. They shared an insightful presentation about the company's educational offerings designed specifically for pharmacy students. Mr. Ram and Ms. Srikala introduced a series of interactive lectures and educational videos that Infotech provides to enhance the learning experience for pharmacy students. These resources aim to simplify complex topics, making learning more accessible and engaging through visual and practical methods.They offer easy-to-understand content that supports both theoretical knowledge and practical application. The team emphasised how these multimedia resources can significantly improve comprehension and retention, making learning more effective and enjoyable.

The ceremony concluded with a thoughtful speech by Mr. Manish Dhall sir. A series of engaging activities were announced, including poster making, quiz, singing and dancing competitions designed to enhance students' knowledge and skills in the field and games are organised to develop sportsmanship in students. These events aim to encourage collaboration, and create awareness about the significance of pharmacy in the broader healthcare landscape.
