In a heartwarming display of community spirit and altruism, the College of Pharmacy [SDPGIPS] recently participated in a blood donation camp and awareness rally to commemorate World Blood Donor Day. The event, held on June 14, saw an enthusiastic turnout from both faculty members and students. Organized by the BT and IH departments in the New OPD Block, the camp aimed to raise awareness about the critical need for blood donations and to contribute to the life-saving cause.
The blood donation camp was set up in the New OPD Block, which was transformed into a well-equipped and welcoming space for donors. Throughout the day, a steady stream of donors from the college community came forward to contribute. Among them were the faculties and students of College of Pharmacy [SDPGIPS].

Also In a commendable effort to raise awareness about the critical need for blood donation, the College of Pharmacy [SDPGIPS] also participated in the awareness rally on Blood Donation. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both faculty members and students, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to community service and public health.

The route of the rally was strategically planned to cover major areas that are from the OPD Block to Medical Mor from 9:00am to 10:00 am, ensuring maximum visibility and outreach. Armed with informative pamphlets, banners, and placards, the participants aimed to educate the public on the importance of regular blood donation. The rally included several stops at busy intersections and public spaces where short speeches and informational sessions were conducted.
